Job Summary Statement
AVENG INFRASET Manufactures a diverse range of precast concrete products to world-class quality standards in compliance with the requirements of SANS using the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system. AVENG INFRASET is a business unit of the Aveng Group which actively pursues extensive global interests encompassing the building, construction, engineering, mining, manufacturing and steel processing industries.
JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The incumbent will be responsible for monthly sales targets and contributions percentage as set out by management. Their involvement extends to production needs, quality, logistics, credit procedures and to liaise with customers on a daily basis.
Minimum Requirements
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12
• A tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing would be an advantage
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 5 years external sales paving experience a distinct advantage
• Demonstrate ability to grow revenue and achievements of targets
• Demonstrate ability to grow customer base
• Knowledge of credit management procedures
• Precast Concrete and/or technology background.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent relationship building and customer relations skills
• Computer Literacy – (SAP, Navision, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent report writing skills
• Excellent planning and organizing skills
Duties & Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES): .
Follow up on government and municipal work in Gauteng
• Ensure the achievement of sales objectives
• Track, collate and interpret sales figures
• Analyse data to identify sales opportunities
• Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue
• Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
• Sales Administrative functions of the Branch
• Assist Accounts/Credit department in fulfilling duties
• Generate monthly sales reports timeously
• Plan production needs with the Sales Manager
• Ensure timely delivery of products
• Develop sales presentations and proposals
• Apply time management principles to ensure adherence to time schedules
• Manage and ensure effective use of assets
• Meet expectations of external and internal customers
• Develop and maintain good working relations with customers
