NQF Level 1 (ABET / AET L1-L4) Special Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) in English. Basic knowledge of health and safety. Physical strength and fitness. Knowledge of food preparations and serving. Ability to perform routine tasks. Ability to operate kitchen equipment / machinery. Interpersonal skills. Successful candidate must be prepared to work shifts including weekends when required.
Prepare and serve of food and light refreshments. Make of salads and assist in the preparation of snacks and sweets (desserts). Packing of supplies received in food storage areas. Clear designated areas to ensure high standard
of hygiene. Wash of cutlery and crockery. Perform tasks of a routine nature. Act as a team leader.
