Claims Administrator (#27732) at Guardrisk
To be responsible for the assessment of recoverability of claims in terms of the policy and all administration of Engineering insurance claims.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS
Acknowledge claims within the time frame defined by our SLA’s
Register claims within 48 Hours
Request relevant information and documentation
Manage claims diary on tial
Responsible for accurate data capturing
Professional telephone communications as well as electronic and written correspondence
Consistent and regular communication and updates to brokers
Manage broker or client expectations with regards to timelines and or policy response
Understand and be able to apply policy excess or deductible
Handle all claim matters from start to finish
Attention to detail
Good planning and organising skills
Good communication and negotiating skills
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5 years administration experience
Preferably a minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a administrative capacity within the Financial Services industry
Be conversant in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
The above-mentioned position is currently available in the C&G department at our Guardrisk business unit based at our office in Sandton.
