Murray & Roberts: Clerk Data Capture

Murray & Roberts Cementation invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Clerk Data Capture (Maintenance).The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.

Minimum Requirements…

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Matric certificate or NQF level 4 equivalent
    • Office Administration qualification or similar related qualification at NQF level 5
    • Be proficient in Microsoft packages
    • Time management, planning and organising skills
    • Sound verbal and written communication skills in English

 

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

    • At least 1 year experience in Data Capture duties preferably in the mining industry
    • Previous administration experience will be an added advantage
    • Experience with working on data capturing systems and translating data into basic reports
    • Must have knowledge of Engineering and mining Operations

 

Job Specification…

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

    • Obtaining information from all relevant sources within the Engineering department
    • Documenting and recording the information on the system
    • Ensuring that the captured data is accurate
    • Comparing captured data with source documents and also should be able to analyze the information
    • Capturing data and generating risk reports, statistics and graphs
    • Updating SharePoint with BMS – Business Management System Audit Protocol Murray & Roberts Cementation (Ongoing)
    • Controlling of incident review / documentation & bookings / register
