Bursary Programme at Cipla Medpro

Cipla Medpro Manufacturing is awarding bursaries to students who are studying towards an undergraduate degree or postgraduate degree at an accredited learning institution. Bursaries will be awarded to university students registering for their studies in 2018.Cipla is a global pharmaceutical company whose goal is ensuring no patient shall be denied access to high quality & affordable medicine.

Students that are studying towards the following University academic disciplines will be considered:

  • Bcom/ BBusSci Accounting – Non CA stream*(Kindly note we do not provide CA accreditation training)
  • Bcom/ BBusSci Finance – Non CA stream*(Kindly note we do not provide CA accreditation training)
  • Bcom/ BBusSci Economics
  • Bcom/ BBusSci Business Management
  • Bcom/ BBusSci General
  • Bcom/ BBusSci Supply Chain Management
  • Bcom/ BSc Information Technology
  • BscEng Industrial Engineering
  • BScEng Mechanical Engineering
  • BscEng Chemical Engineering
  • Bsc Chemistry
  • Bsc Biochemistry
  • Bsc Microbiology
  • Bsc Biotechnology
  • BMedSci Biomedical Science
  • BPharm
  • BSocSci/ BA. Communications or Digital Media Studies

(* Relevant Postgraduate Degree – Honours,PGDip, Masters & PhD students for the above disciplines included

Requirements

Bursaries are awarded on the following selection criteria

  • Matric completed
  • University institution
  • English, read, write and speak
  • Only SA citizens between the ages of 17–25
  • Must be registered with a Tertiary Institution and have passed all subjects/ modules from the previous year or semester
  • High academic achievement with an overall aggregate of 70% for Matric (First year students) or tertiary studies (second & third/final year students)
  • Do not have any other bursary funding
  • Students from groups defined by BBBEE criteria
